Our Green Side

Green behind the scenes

Selling pin-up calendars doesn’t automatically make us a moral authority, so we’ll skip the part where we explain our deep spiritual connection to the planet. Here’s what we actually do instead.

We run on sunshine

Fifty-five solar panels on the roof produce more electricity over a year than our entire operation consumes.

On a good June afternoon we’re exporting power to the grid. In December, admittedly, we’re taking it back.

FSC-certified paper

Our paper is FSC-certified. Since 2025, nearly all the paper we buy carries FSC certification.

For older stock we check the origin where we can.

A calendar hangs on your wall for a year and then, ideally, goes in the paper bin — so it may as well start and end as a tree that someone planted on purpose.

Our transport is electric

Every company vehicle runs on electricity.

Quieter, cheaper, and no diesel smell in the warehouse.

We reuse our boxes

About 80% of our large cartons get a second life.

Smaller orders go out wrapped in strong kraft paper, which uses roughly 85% less packaging than a box and void fill.

We use paper tape rather than plastic, so the whole thing goes in the paper recycling without a five-minute unpicking ritual.

We know our suppliers

We work with a small number of them, we visit them when we can, and we choose them on how they treat people rather than on how their brochure looks.

We hold no large sustainability certificates. They cost thousands of euros a year, which for a company our size buys a logo rather than a change in behaviour.

We’d rather spend it on better paper.

What we haven’t done yet

A heat pump, a battery and a geothermal well are all on the list and none of them are installed.

We’d rather tell you that than put them on this page in the present tense.

That’s it. No pledges, no roadmap to 2050, no stock photo of a seedling in cupped hands. Just a calendar company trying not to make things worse.
